We decided to create a better version of a community-focused market that celebrates all things local - from artisans, makers, growers and producers, to music and small business. In a clean, welcoming and friendly location suited to a relaxing afternoon spent shopping, meeting friends, grabbing some great food and learning about incredible local talent, art, makers and products. And of course, with a great background soundtrack courtesy of local Texas live music on our main stage.
Sulphur Creek Market was founded by small business owners from Lampasas with the sole purpose of bringing our community together and celebrating all things local. The Marketplace at Sulphur Creek (shops, retail, storage) and The Wild Bunch Homestead decided to set up right at our doorstep - because it’s the perfect, easily-accessible location for our community and vendors to gather.
Situated right along Sulphur Creek on south US-281, we are close and convenient to all major throughfares (we’re at the junction of 281, 190 and 183) as well as parks and walking trails. With ample parking, a clean, friendly, and community-oriented environment and anchor stores providing a variety of retail, food and drink options, we’re excited to welcome you to the brand new Market!

Our beautiful location sits right off highway 281 as you are coming into Lampasas from the South. We are between the golf course and Lampasas Middle School, at the corner of 10th St and US-281 South - just look for Marketplace Storage or the big “Marketplace at Sulphur Creek” sign across from Beer Barn.

This market is to display the works of local makers, creators, artisans, growers, small business, etc. Vendors that make, grow, or craft 90% or more of the items they will be selling will be given priority. We will limit the number of vendor in a particular category to ensure the quality of market vendors.
10' x 10' Vendor Spot. Vendor will need to bring their own Tent, Weights, Tables, Chairs Extra. 30 pound weights on each Tent Leg required.
No power is supplied. Quiet generators will be allowed with prior approval. Vendor Set Up at 9:00am. Vendors must be set up and ready by 11am. Take down at 4pm, no early take down allowed.

We will feature one or two live bands on our main stage during each market, subject to scheduling. Performances must be family-friendly and of appropriate genre. If you are interested in booking with us, please contact us below with a sample of your music (streaming links are okay), a live performance video, link to your website and social media profiles. Please include your availability and any performance/setup requirements. We will reach out if we feel you are a good fit.
